A Forward-Looking Partnership: Kolibri Beteiligung, Ford, and Haupt Racing Team Join Forces

Potsdam, May 20, 2025.Kolibri Beteiligung GmbH is launching a close collaboration with Ford and Ford’s partner, Haupt Racing Team (HRT). As part of a strategic partnership, a framework agreement has been signed under which Ford Trucks will supply the heavy-duty trucks used by Zeitfracht Logistik. The collaboration also includes close technological cooperation with HRT, one of Europe’s leading motorsports teams.

The partnership focuses on mutual exchange and the development of innovative technologies. The HRT RACE BASE, located in the immediate vicinity of the Nürburgring, serves as a state-of-the-art research and development center. Here, companies within the Kolibri Group—such as Zeitfracht Medien, Zeitfracht Logistik, and German Airways—will work together with HRT to optimize processes and further develop cutting-edge technologies. All parties involved benefit from this close collaboration—for example, through joint staff development programs and specialized driver training courses offered in cooperation with the experienced racing team from the Eifel region.

Ford and the Haupt Racing Team are also setting new standards in motorsports: Starting this season, they will compete together in top-tier racing series such as the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) and in international endurance races. The focus is on the factory-backed campaign featuring the new Ford Mustang GT3, which marks Ford’s return to the DTM as a factory team.

Ford Trucks offer numerous economic benefits for the Zeitfracht Logistik truck fleet. Thanks to the modern, efficient engine technology of the Ford F-MAX GEN 2, fuel consumption and operating costs can be significantly reduced. Digital solutions such as Ford Connect Truck also enable efficient fleet management.

The wide range of models, ongoing technical advancements—from zero-emission powertrains to autonomous driving technologies—and the electrification of vehicles offer businesses flexibility, future-proofing, and attractive cost-saving opportunities.
