KNV Zeitfracht relocates company headquarters to Erfurt

Erfurt, April 29, 2020.

KNV Zeitfracht is expanding its presence in Erfurt. The book logistics service provider’s state-of-the-art logistics center in Thuringia is already based there. The company is now also relocating its legal headquarters to Erfurt. Stuttgart will remain Zeitfracht’s administrative headquarters.

The logistics center became fully operational in 2016 and is one of the most modern, largest, and most efficient in Europe. With its 1,100 employees, it provides Zeitfracht’s customers with logistics services of the highest quality and at maximum speed.

Thomas Raff, spokesperson for the Zeitfracht management board: “Thuringia has now become a European hub for innovation. Located in the heart of Germany, the state is ideally situated as a logistics hub and has excellent connections in all directions. It also boasts an investment-friendly business climate. We feel very welcome in Thuringia, and by relocating our company headquarters here, we are also sending a clear signal of our appreciation for the tremendous support we have received from both the community and the political sphere for an expanding logistics company like ours.”

Thuringia’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Wolfgang Tiefensee, welcomes the relocation of Zeitfracht Medien GmbH’s headquarters from Leipzig to Erfurt. “This means that Germany’s largest book and media logistics provider will now officially operate out of Thuringia’s state capital,” the minister said. “This sends a strong signal and demonstrates that companies can thrive here. The business environment and investment climate in the Free State are just right.” Thuringia looks forward to continuing to closely support the company’s positive development.
